Privacy Policy
Draft for review. This page has not yet been approved by Neyos Financials’ compliance and legal advisers.
This policy explains how Neyos Financials (“Neyos”, “we”) handles personal information collected through this website. We follow the principles of Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and any provincial privacy law that applies.
What we collect
When you request a consultation, we collect only what we need to arrange it:
- your name, email address and, if you give it, your phone number;
- the topic you want to discuss, your preferred meeting format and time;
- anything you choose to write in the optional message field.
We do not ask for, and you should not send through this website, account numbers, your Social Insurance Number, health information or other sensitive financial details.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your request, arrange and hold your consultation, and keep a record of our contact with you. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you separately agree.
Service providers
We use service providers to run this website and handle requests:
- Cloudflare, to host the website, protect it from abuse (Turnstile) and send email notifications;
- a scheduling service, when you choose an appointment time, to hold and confirm the booking.
These providers may process information outside your province or outside Canada, where it is subject to the laws of that jurisdiction. They may use it only to provide their services to us.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Turnstile, our spam protection, may process technical information about your browser to tell people from automated traffic. Any website analytics we use do not identify you personally.
How long we keep it
We keep consultation requests only as long as needed for the purposes above and any legal or regulatory record-keeping obligations, then delete them securely.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent to further contact. Contact details for privacy requests will be published here. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page, with the date of the last review.
